I would suggest adding current vassalization to the rank formula. Perhaps if you are currently vassalized, subtract the number of rounds you have left from your rank. Or perhaps a flat reduction of 5.
reason? To prevent the passing of high ranked, but defenseless, vassals around to gain bounties. Also, I don't think someone should be ranked high if they're vassalized by someone else -- Rank should show dominance.
