I'm pope (rank 1). Assmonster is 2nd runner up (rank 3). His buildings are "colorful" (a.k.a. destroyable for points). I, as pope, destroy the hell out of one of his cathedrals. 3 points. ;D I head over to the next temple, click reduce and ... HONK ... this lesser mortal has suffered enough. So, any other schmo could go on an Assmonster Mosque Destruction Tour, but me, as the Pope, have to leave colorful buildings, those of my leading competitors mind you, alone?!? This may be "as designed" but I see it as a design flaw.

It's bad that you had to destroy your own coloured temples?
Hm, I could just make it so while points-bearing temples are always colourful, your own temples (even as pope) would still appear white.
Good?

ummm, thats how it is now. i think you misunderstood his point.
actually as pope, when you kill a papal heir you get 2 PP. so you got 6 PP for destroying my cathedral. i think its a good rule, so that popes can't just go completely destroying everyone and remain pope forever. this way there's more pope switching.

oh and you know you get PP for destroying ANYONE's temple as pope eh? so just go destroy someone else's. you can always make lots of PP's as pope.

I was not aware of the Pope vs. papal heir "double coupon days" effect. Thanks for pointing that out.
However, I think that a colored building ought to be points for anyone, regardless of how many they've crushed recently. Sure, a Pope would be helping maintain his status by squashing the buildings of his immediate opponents, but it takes 45 movement points to completely destroy a cathedral. Yes, the Pope regenerates most quickly, but, there's only 1 Pope. Everyone else will be claiming points on his buildings, and there are a whole lot more of those people.
My other, related, Pope woe, is that I can't keep track of whose temples I've crushed as Pope. In my earlier stints as Pope, I'd start destroying everything. I'm pretty sure I once destroyed a building... became unPoped... became rePoped... and then tried to destroy a second building of the same idler and was informed that they'd suffered enough. Now, I'm guessing you're opposed to noting which buildings are still point bearing (either by a "hit list" of people you've already crushed or by coloring temples differently for a Pope [i.e. make any temple that would yield the Pope points colored and then, after destroying one, uncolor the others with the same owner... until they move again])... but, could we at least reset the "hit list" when you fall from grace/assume Popehood?

What's this "Suffered enough" message? I've never got it.

After destroying a single building of a player as the Pope, you may not destroy another one for points until that player refreshes. This is to prevent the Pope from completely whiping out a player while they are not even logged in. It's in the documentation, but, I can't access it from work.

Oh, so this is only whilst you're Pope. I haven't been Pope for many moons now.
