DISCLAIMER: I make an enormous fuss whenever I'm learning to play a new videogame, in a videogame, everything I don't understand, I hate. Juanito can vouch for that So if my first opinions are harsh, it's not that I think it's a bad game, the reason is that I'm still wading through "new videogame wtf fury". And with the "aseptic game environment" premise, it's bound to be hard. But I'll keep playing until I seen some fun in it, which I will eventually accopmplish =)
-Looks quite deep but not knowing at all the scope, scale, or time units of the game feels limiting. But oh well, those are the premises
-What can I do as a lost soul besides waiting to be killed AGAIN? Looks like there isn't any gaming to do in hell - just an "eat" option and other lost souls which always flee on attack.
-Wouldn't a suicide option be viable in this game?
-About how many times is this game supposed to be checked a day? Looks like my character gets too tired to do anything about 10 minutes or so. Some notion of this would be helping, even a coarse "check it three times a day" or "it varies with development" clue would be good.
-For now it seems too much of a fuss, too much in the dark, and too much punitive: Walk 4 squares and back to get 1 wood of which 5 are needed to build can't-recall-what, I try to hunt a camel and die? Sounds 3rd world, what fun is in that? Will I have to send my character to work in the nearest town in an office, and make it do paperwork too?
-A map? Even if it includes only where your character has been - I know I've passed by a couple of towns, and that signposts are there for a reason, but keeping track of an expanse of nearly featureless squares is hard.
-The flashing tiles are cool.
