I've been a human, a preta (for a minute or so), a lost soul, a grasshopper, a tiger, a horse and now an elephant.
As a human, I can't even remember what happened. I died from the cold or something.
As a preta, I went against an Asura and was banished to hell immediately. Even before I knew I was a preta.
In hell, I just wandered around until Juanito killed me after attacking me a zillion times.
As a grasshopper I drowned intentionally.
As a tiger I managed to hunt a pair of chickens but then I think it was a horse what killed me.
As a horse I managed to befriend a number of other beings, and lived a complete lifespan.
And now I'm a baby elephant, and another of my berserking rants comes.
My question is now, what is there to be done as an animal besides screwing, eating and befriending other beings? Fitting, but boring too. And animals can't even meditate to see their stats.
Seduction:
I find seduction almost pointless - it's a huge move drain (rebuffs, rebuffs, rebuffs - let's practice celibacy) plus, what do I care if there are more animal NPCs of my species?
Eating:
Necessary.
Befriending:
This is what I have been doing lately. It's nice to befriend other beings. My best friend in my last life was an Asura (that's so nice).
Fighting:
Attacking people and things probably nets bad karma, and being an animal is boring enough to risk becoming a lost soul - which really is tormenting since you might as well stop playing until you reincarnate. That dissuades me quite a lot from seeing action.
Overall:
Apparently the only ones who can do things are humans, fighting is not only bad but difficult, seduction is pointless, the only carnivore species out there is the tiger, game testing is absolutely blind... all this sums up to blundering endlessly until getting lucky enough to reincarnate as a human. The game is cute, entertaining and richly detailed, but it's unforgiving and highly unrewarding =(
Feels like the real game is being a human and the rest is just that, karmic punishment you have to put through.
nevertheless, I'm still playing lol
