Need yar halpz. it was my bday yesterday and I got an iPod touch from my gf (she's a nutcase!)... i've been trying to connect it to my Wi-Fi at home, but can't do it. I'm using a Scientific Atlanta cable modem connected to a Comtrend router that I use for the Wi-Fi (can't connect it directly to the internet as TV wouldn't work). So... I go to settings, select my internet connection, write the password, it seems to be connected, but when I try to access the internet with Safari, it'll say I'm not connected to the internet. I've tried with inputting the figures manually instead of using DHCP (even if my router is configured to serve with DHCP) but still it wouldn't work. Here's my ipconfig in case that might help: Sufijo de conexión específica DNS : voip.sp.bt.com Dirección IP. . . . . . . . . . . : 195.100.19.184 Máscara de subred . . . . . . . . : 255.255.254.0 Puerta de enlace predeterminada : 195.100.18.1 Any ideas..? Penis, scurtis?

gonna try with ipconfig /all then try to input the DNS manually...

Sorry, I assumed that Safari meant Apple... shame on me. Get Chrome. Also, I get intermittant issues with my wifi router as well, what happens when you plug the Modem directly into your PC instead of to the router? (Also, don't forget, whenever you reset you router/or change what the modem is plugged into, you'll need to unplug it for a good minute or two- cause they like to lock into their settings and not bother looking to see that they are plugged into something new!)

yeah, I looked into all that already I fixed it... had to get the DNS with "ipconfig /all" in the console, then have it manually input into the iPod. Couldn't do that cause with "ipconfig" all I got was that "voip.blabla.com", which is the place where I get the DNS list, seems. All this shit happens since I changed my ISP, but I now got the gang of it...
