I think it's about time for the topic to come up, to get some thoughts on the courses that should be taken.
I am a known multi-account player, and have been since day 1. I announced it when both accounts were created (One for me, iuewen; one for my fiancee, Atlatl) and have let Rast know about it from the getgo. We've tried to be completely fair with the accounts, no gangbanging, no unfair trades, etc.
Lately, i've noticed a disturbing new trend of multiaccount users taking advantage of the ability to perform multiple strikes and share resources. I've held my tongue, as most people have (apart from the little flame war that went on a few weeks back) but yesterday was an instance of multi-abuse that needs to be looked at, I think.
I went about the business of testing out the new Fireworks, and ended up vassalizing Humpy in the attempt (and Paxades... sorry bud). I land exchanged a couple times, and rebuilt my new land a bit, then went off to work. I come home and notice that my province has been nuked by Jumpy with a Launchpad in retribution for vassalizing his alt account that he had claimed he'd stopped playing.
I think the time for these multi accounts has ended. I quit playing iuewen (admittedly my more successful account) quite some time ago as my fiancee decided to move on to different games and I didn't think it fair to continue playing at an unfair advantage. When I see people abusing the system in that same way it angers me.
So, thoughts on the subject? I'd like to get a bit of insight from Rast on this subject, as he is in a much easier vantage point than the rest of us in the matter of multi tracking and watching.
(At least Humpy got hit with his bad karma - White Horseman reversed that quite nicely)
