I was thinking about some of the variables in the game. For example I have a production modifer of -7. I would be interested to know what the variables that made it -7. Is it possible to have it listed on the "production" communication screen?
I would also be curious to know what the actual factors are when my pollution raises or lowers.
Just a thought.

It should be pretty easy to tell where most of it comes from. Production Modifier is the easiest : first apply your land bonus, then your government bonuses and industry style bonuses if any, and finally subtract your Pollution. Pollution is harder, since it's constantly taking an average of your "Pollution" score and your pollution generated that production... but it's pretty easy to tell where your Pollution is coming from, too (things that contribute to pollution: coal/fuel spent, food rotted, industry style (and neighbours in the case of LF or N), and now neighbours with high pollution... that's averaged with whatever your Pollution score last cycle was, meaning it eventually will get approximately to wherever your "this cycle" Pollution is at, if you keep it up for a long time. It's explained pretty well in the Docs, so this request isn't about "What variables go into it?" (as you can calculate it all yourself if you really wanted to), but to make it easier to see just what's going into it. Er, my point in this post is that it's easy to see what contributes to pollution or production, by looking at all the things that contribute and adding them up and doing some of the math yourself, but it could be easier yet.

Yeah I tried to calculate it but I come to 0, but my modifer is -10!
