Ok, I understand that if I walk near one, my 1/10 chance of stepping wrong may throw me into harms' way. And I understand how some other person could banish me into a twister. But I recently encountered a fairly nasty situation. I saw a "top 3 building" (a.k.a. Pope Point for the taking) in the desert. So I hoped on and destroyed it. Upon the refresh, poof, I'm now standing on a twister. Is there any way to know before hand that the building I'm considering destroying is actually hiding a twister behind/beneath it? (Aside from having mastered the code to know where "random" "special tiles" will be.) Or is this just a fiendish strategy to essentially leave land mines under your buildings in the desert, making it kind of a security system? ;D (Oh, and I was thrown into the water and drowned, thank you very much.)

I think it's a nice trick. Like huts that kill.

I didn't even realize it was possible until it happened to me. Of course, then I promptly went back and put one there of my own.

So, it begs the question: Is there some way to know about a hidden twister? or Is it simply a "destroy at your own risk" situation when you encounter a tempting temple in teh desert?

All special tiles appear in a predictable pattern. You could figure it out easily enough.

Unless, of course, we go and cover up all the special tiles. Then it becomes a little more interesting.
