First note on gender roles.
Currently, the gender you select will remain with you throughout the game. I did this as a default, because some people might feel more comfortable that way. Realistically, and as such I shall make it an option in the future, your gender will change when you get reincarnated.
This would be appropriate, because being a female (in species which explicitly rear live young) allows you to a) get pregnant and b) give birth to babies, which are also players. I suspect this to be somewhat of a liability long-term, especially if your children don't want to be friends with you. Of course I am relatively sensitive to gender-issues, but Samsara is intended to be a vague interpretation of real life, in which real life things happen. Women have babies. End of story.
Now on to SEX, or as it is somewhat discreetly termed "seduction". This is a purely functional mechanism which will only be successful where a female of the species might be impregnated. Please, feel free to imagine whatever events you wish between yourself and other players, but until I proffer a "feel good" message with the kink (and maybe make you a more experienced lover under the hood), that's all she wrote.
