Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about: rasteroid.net/kismet/images/screenshot01.pngThis is the kind of interesting situation I like to come back to. The tiger I was riding has gotten hungry, and eaten the lady I recruited to my party, leaving her orphan child behind. With her blood ultimately on my hands, I am doomed to an eternity (2 days) of damnation in the underworld.. yada. The game is starting to come alive. Getting it so smooth and nice, I think you guys will like the next couple of months of dev. Hey, I'll allow commenting on my posts here, but no new threads in my corner. That'll be cool.

Are you damned for having money, or just for attacking someone? Or is this a simple matter where I took over too many unowned towns, and usurping is evil?

well it's extremely general at the moment, but my next big renovation will probably be to karma, so it will get a lot of tuning.

Hmm mounting is cool. I, as a deva, am able to do so. Is that intentional?

yes, there's a rigid subset of creatures that can ride, and that can be ridden. Devas are able to ride. Later on I may introduce another category, so we have like pretas riding chickens and whatnot.

usurping is evil, attacking is evil.. delivering mail is good, feeding stuff is good..
the gradient is very thick at the moment, so for example if you deliver 5 pieces of mail you work off one kill, perhaps. I plan to refine karma a lot, as I said it's my next big renovation.
