I tried killing endlessly to hit the lower end of the spectrum and become a Preta? Asura? I tried foraging endlessly for weeks to try and get out of the horrible cycle of Garuda > Naga > Sparrow.
I'm stuck, the game has long lost any enjoyment value (foraging until exhausted, or gathering wood until exhausted. What else is there for these three animals to do?)
So, I ask - what is the point, and furthermore, how can I get back to something enjoyable from this point?

Alrighty then, time to idle. Maybe I'll start up again once my idleness kicks in and changes me into a Human once more. Maybe.

Eh, it seems pretty bug-free as far as I saw, just supremely pointless and boring. There is almost no interaction other than friending someone and marching around, or the occasional diddle or attack (though attacking someone gets you stuck in the Sparrow/Naga loop, so that is a very bad thing).
Battle Mines had a goal in mind - you build a DDD, or you build a fully functional island, you stockpile and horde until you decide to kill everyone, and then you start over. GoG was similar - you built your power up and became a super fire ninja pope and wrecked havoc throughout the lands, or you became a calm, water dancer and wrecked havoc throughout the lands. Etc.
Samsara seems fairly aimless. You could gather stone, iron, and wood, and build a city, and then train some weaponry. You could make a few coins. But then what? One bad fight and you are stuck in a Naga/Sparrow loop because you initiated combat. Playing as an insect or animal is about as boring as it gets - you can walk in one of eight directions, you can eat, or you can mate with someone of the opposite sex from your species if you can find one. Boring.
I am hoping some sort of goal materializes in the future, and I'd be more than happy to play again, but Nagas and Sparrows are completely unenjoyable.

Iuewen, the way I see it BM and GoG like most MMORPG for a matter of fact were just as pointless as samsara. Sure, be kickass ninja, build DDD, then what? It just had some more stuff in it.

But that's extendable to real life, even to dominions over real life that are only conceivable to the primigenial Gods of æther.

Battlemines never had a point at the beginning. It was essentially - trade, build mines and shit - get nuked by assholes. (Hi rast!)

Aye, but that WAS the point. What is the point in Samsara?
