Windows 8 being super retarded

So, I have three PCs. Two run Windows 7 and this one runs Windows 8. I haven't been on BM for a week, because I just got this PC with Windows 8, and Chrome won't load the login cookie for BM.

I can log in fine on both of my other PCs - one shares my chrome account/settings, and the cookie is present in Chrome when I check. The other PC has my wife's chrome account, etc, and I was able to log in and acquire the brand new cookie from hers as well.

That is the cookie I just pulled off her machine.

This windows 8 rig will not acquire that cookie at all, no matter what I do. Clearing cache and cookies didn't change this. I can acquire cookies on other sites just fine, so I am assuming it is a programming anomaly revolving around windows 8 being mentally retarded.

Yeah, so does anyone else run Windows 8 that can test/confirm this? This is a fresh install too, I just loaded it 6 days ago.

I would be very interested to hear about this, I'm not doing anything special with cookies (though as you know, they are currently set to expire after an hour).
