Factory AH (HULL) with overfill space off breaks

I had a Factory last night, running Hull. During the day, my factory was destroyed by a random event. I did not get the hull upgrade at any point, with the factory set to auto harvest, with Overfill Space turned off.

I have a note here, "make hull always harvest".

That would be what I'm talking about.
